We are a high end hospitality company dedicated to enhancing Member`s lives is seeking full time PRIVATE TRAINERS located in Rockefeller Center for our Fitness department. An overview of the position is to maintain strong sales productivity and consistent client base ensuring financial success for the Company and the department. Enhance Member’s lives by utilizing cutting-edge exercise, fitness and eating strategies that are focused on Client goals and safe; creating maximal results in the least amount of time.

Other responsibilities include:
• Sell and Service Private Training Sessions to Members
• Document Member information accurately, neatly, completely, and in a
timely manner.
• Develop safe and effective exercise programs utilizing progression; insure
programs are consistent with Member’s goals/needs. Follow Company
protocol for greeting, goal setting, health history, assessments, program
design and documentation. Promote, design and instruct proper eating
strategies.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper use of equipment with regard to muscle
stabilization, body alignment and execution. Give clear, concise
instruction before and during activity.
• Follow the SCLA Sales Strategies, and demonstrate effective sales skills
by determining wants and needs, build rapport and customizing
presentation.
• Maintain a minimum of 20 sessions per week.
• Utilize Trainer on Duty Marketing time as approved to perform a variety
of Information Stations, Demo.s, Group Events, and effectively use
Member Service skills to network, obtain contact information on contact
sheet for follow up, and generate sales. Continuously circulate throughout
the Club, spend the appropriate time with each Member, provide form
corrections/spots, and answer questions.
• Demonstrate success in performance of Complimentary Sessions,
following protocol and maintaining minimum first time sale closing
percentage of 33% or better.
Job Requirements:
• NASM CPT Certification required. Newly selected Team Members must
complete this requirement within six months of hire date.
• ACE, NSCA or ACSM, or NASM Certification and/or a degree in
progress in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Sports
Medicine; or equivalent preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Practical experience in the field.
• Knowledge of current fitness trends and safety practices.
• Capable of maintaining a minimum of 20 sessions per week.
